Hanover - UNESCO City of Music, City of Choirs and Sound - in the year of the 50th DAGA, Hanover in the heart of Germany is host for a second time: Be now cordially invited to DAGA 2024.

The Hannover Congress Center (HCC) with its historic conference rooms and "Future Meeting Spaces" offers a special setting for this DAGA for scientific presentations, meetings, professional exchange and creative interaction.

In the region of Hanover, we live acoustics with heart and soul: At Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), Hannover Medical School (MHH) and Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH), but also in many initiatives and industrial companies in the surrounding area, there are extensive research activities in the field of hearing, electroacoustics and audio technology, technical acoustics, and music and sound research. The contribution of LUH and MHH in the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4all in the Lower Saxony cooperation partnership Auditory Valley is particularly worth mentioning here.

Between Harz and Heide, Oker and Leine, a wide variety of acoustic research can be found - especially at non-university research institutions such as the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the National Metrology Institute (PTB), the Clausthal University of Technology and, last but not least, the Technische Universität Braunschweig. At all university locations in the region, we are also passionate about motivating teaching and providing solid training for the acousticians of tomorrow.

DAGA 2024 is planned, organized, and executed by colleagues from the institutes and facilities of Leibniz Universität Hannover. We are all very much looking forward to hosting the 50th DAGA in Hannover.
